By Air :
Sanganer Airport around 11 km is the main air gateway to Jaipur. Delhi-258km, Mumbai-1202km. have direct flights to Jaipur. Indian Airlines flight also connects other major cities like Udaipur, Jodhpur, Agra, kolkata to Jaipur.
By Rail :
Jaipur and other cities in Rajasthan are very well connected to Delhi through rail transport. Shatabdi Express, Pink City Express and other Jaipur-Delhi trains leave from Old Delhi Railway Station in Delhi, but there is no better option then the Palace-on-Wheel, which leaves Delhi on every Wednesday.
By Road :
City is connected to most of the tourist destinations in Rajasthan as well as Agra. Jaipur is part of the Golden Travel Circuit of India that includes Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. Delhi-Jaipur national highway is one of the finest roads in India. A normal journey takes about five hours. There are also good bus services from Delhi and other important north Indian cities to Jaipur.
Local Transport :
Autos and Taxis are the most convenient ways of moving inside the city as well as to reach some of the excursions located in the proximity. To move inside the city, you can also look for cycle rickshaws, which are easily available and much cheaper than other transportation modes.
